Suppose in the spirit of the first thread who owns the earlier game? And who plays online?

I have got the earlier one but never really played it.
I suppose I could install it at some point if you have it Mat and give you a game..

You may think I'm stupid but, what exactly is it. I'm guessing by what has been said here it's on PC and it's online. Just wondering if I can get it.

I have the game, played through the campaigns twice, Good and Evil, once on easy and once again for a bit more of a challenge on hard.
Never got around to getting the second one, and on-line gaming does not appeal to me in the slightest, I much prefer pushing soldiers around a tabletop to be honest.

I have all three of the BfME's Have completed all of them as per tony, Easy first time around and then Hard the second time around.
And as for playing online - i'd have to be either bored stiff or paid a couple of grand. Table top better - social aspect; see peoples face...and not just words on a screen someone's type etc.

Unfortunately not always a viable option to play face to face It is also a very different game against a real opp. Personally I found the campaign too linear and too easy for me. Playing a live person requires different approaches which are slightly more challenging. It is of course another way to chat with people on the various sites we are members of - given that face to face is not going to be available with transatlantic contacts

I've never played it. I might be completely wrong, but is it sorta like a Red Alert 2 kinda game?

Age of Empires, Settlers, Starcraft, Warcraft, Dawn of War, so yes even Red Alert, its that type of strategy game.
