hello there... its been a week of training for parkour and i feel as though i need some advice... parkour is so cool... i really want to be able to do it and i have a mate who is training with me and has the same dream. I am willing to get hurt if it means i can train... Every day, at my school, me and jack, just train basically. I really need some tips, i can't do front flips let alone back flips... Would going to gymnastics be a good idea? I also have a cousin, 2 years younger then me who has been doing it longer then me and is way better then me.... i can't let this be Parkour is so fun and rewarding...

Hmmm, from what I can tell, it is some sort of stunt sport thing, maybe its like a street thing, I saw a program on people doing backflips of fences and stuff, maybe its on foot and you do jumps and stuff, just a guess

Frosty's pretty good. We do have good places in Napier. It's just you need to find them.

Yeah, I suppose so, there would be some of good places, nothing really like in those videos, some of those off road tracks you see in the vids, either park island or Eskdale would be good to go to, or maybe even dolbel

Or around the sound shell. Anyone watch the one where they're playing tag on youtube.

Sound shell, yeah, that would be cool, or even down by the rock pools, there are a lot of big rocks down there, that would be a good as place to do it.
I did start to watch that tag vid on utube, but I had to go to school, so I only saw the start of it

Don't think it would be good if you smacked you head on a rock though.
