Well we've had favourite kill and favourite character but what is you favourite line form film or book (or more if you really can't choose) mine's gotta be from gimli when Gandalf shows himself to them in Fangorn: "Seeing as how Gandalf's head is now sacred, let us find another to cleave"A true master of words

Theoden's line before Pelennor, or Aragorn's at the Black Gate. Gotta love the stirring speeches!

I like both of those. I like those type of lines. So cool. But I like Theodens more. It's got a good scene kind of thing of all the horses.

Hmm...mine as well is from the books (it's a passage really): "Then without taking counsel or waiting for the approach of the men of the City, he spurrred headlong back to the front of the great host, and blew a horn, and cried aloud for the onset. Over the field rang his clear voice calling: 'Death! Ride, ride to ruin and world's ending' And with that the host began to move. But the Rohirrim sang no more. Death they cried with one voice loud and terrible, and gathering speed like a great tide thier battle swept about their fallen king and passed, roaring away southwards." It's 'bout Eomer, if you didn't know. Right after he finds Theoden and Eowyn's bodies. Then he wigs out, and goes to town

I just loved Aragorns speech outside the Black Gate, and I found Pippins singing while Faramir and the knights were charging was rather touching

A little out of order I suppose, and mucked up but;
"my brother, my captain, my king." "Rest in peace son of Gondor."
"fool of a Took, why don't you throw youself in next time!" "A wizard is never late, he arrives exactly when he means to." "you shall not pass!"
"flee! flee! run for your lives!"

mine is aragorns speech, i know it off by heart.
"Hold the line! Hold the line!
Men of Gondor, and Rohan, MY BROTHERS!!
I see in your eyes, the same fear that would take the heart of me!
I day may come, when the courage of men fails, and we forsake our friends, and break ALL bonds of fellowship!
But it is not this day!!
An hour of Woes, and shattered shields, as the age of men comes crashing down!
But it is not this day!!!
This day we fight!!!
By all that you hold dear on this good earth, i bid you stand, Men of the West!!!!!!!"
words of Arathorn, what i think anyway *sniff* They grow up so fast *sniff*
