Who do you think should have been in the films but wasn't?
I was totally miffed that Glorfindel didn't rescued them

Probably Tom Bombadil. He was an important character in the books!

Mouth of Sauron - at least from the original edits he shouldn't have been

Bombadil deffinatley.
The beggining of the film is so schewed away from the books and for no good reason. Sure they get to the 'bigger action' faster but they skip out a lot and change many things too....

Mouth of Sauron should have been in the original. But I disagree with Glorfindel, introducing Arwen (OMG is she gorgeous) and giving her an action moment was an excellent addition

Yeah, it's hard to disagree with that but is just an awesome character IMO

Bombadil ( well the whole of the 'Fog on Barrow-Downs was a dissapointment) and Glorfindel And they should have done the Scourging of the Shire also... so what if it makes the film long, i'd enjoy it more

I agree about the Fog on the Barrow Downs being missing, that was a great shame it had to be omitted.
Although I am still half expecting to see another 'cut' of the Fellowship of the Ring, being as we have have seen additional 'stills' from scenes in The Last Alliance prologue with Gil-Galad getting 'torched' by Sauron and additional scenes with Elendil and Isuldur, and not forgetting the Goblins getting butchered by the Elves on the borders of Lothlorien.
As to the original question, Glorfindel and Tom Bombadil

Suladan is a GW invention "and his spear was shivered as he threw down their chieftain" refers to Theoden killing the leader of the Haradrim in the battle.

Yeah I've told him dozens of times to read LOTR but he never gets round to it.
Oh, and it's "wouldn't have known" Have, not of. People get confused because it is often said should've, could've, etc which sounds like should of, could of...
Sorry it was really bugging me.
