Try reading the stuff published before the NJO, before it became all doom and gloom.

Tales of the Jedi is a fairly old, albiet very good graohic novel. There are several and they chronical the Great Hyperspace War and the Sith War, the former event being set circa 5000BBY and the latter 4000BBY. The later is also the first occurence of the double-bladed lightsaber in Star Wars fiction. Also, the later event has a 'continuation' in a series of books set circa 10ABY.

Dinadan, did you mean the Jedi academy trilogy? Are you asking about my NJO comment, or my Tales of the Jedi comment?

Think so. If I recall that's the one where Luke first sets up his Accademy on Yavin 4. If so, then yes - I was refering to the spirit of Exar Kun (character in Tales) who appears there. (Not that Jad needs me to say that last bit, but those of you who aren't familiar with the books might).

Invincible is released today Oh and Rebelscum.com reports that the Lucasfilm's contract with Del Rey has been extended. Yusss. That Millenium falcon novel should be interesting

What do people think of the Vector arc in the comics so far (the KotOR segment has just finished, the Dark Times part should start soon)?

It's a pity that the quality of the KotOR art was low for it. It was fairly cartoony in feel, which was really disapointing compared to the covers, such as the one with Celeste at the head of a Mandarlorian-Rakghoul army on the most recent
