Wow, that looks really good, I love the effect on the armour, it looks really cool, the sword is good as too, I love the pattern on it, the cape looks really neat too. ;D

I give the chainmail on my elves a blue wash. If I can get a decent pic of my Glorfindel I'll show you

I like it and I like the design upon the sword, but the paint on the chainmail (especially on Glorfindel's right arm) strikes me as applied a bit too thickly...
But other than that it is good.

CC: ahh you are right with the chainmail, i used a little to much mithril silver. heres more, the camera shows every detail and because of that it looks less good but i can assure you, not because of the paint the mantle looks a little bumpy. the model was a little dirty:

I think I said something along the lines that the cloak is amazing, on TLA, and I must repeat myself here!

Very nice and neat. Like the gold armour. Again the chainmail isn't quite right

I just noticed something, on the pic of the back is his sword black? Or is it just the light?

ah yes sharp minded Pythagean! well it was an older picture of him and i didnt painted his sword at that time yet. thanks for the feedback, thank god it came out nicely because if it wouldnt had, i would have thrown him out of the window because i got sick of painting his mantle. midnight blue..... regal blue.... enchanted blue.... ice blue.... looks like crap. ice blue.... skull white..... white....... more white....... even more whit.... looks better:)

Lol, I sometimes forget to paint swords too.
I know hoe you feel, thats how I felt trying to paint my Mordor troll a couple of years ago, I ended up just mixing all my paints together and it actually came out alright!

Did you do a brown wash for the armour? I prefer to use a green wash.
