i doubt he'd remarry. For that they'd have to invent a new character or put alot more focus on an existing one but the focus now is more on the new generation so the authors wouldn't really want to go back to the older characters. i wonder what the life expectancy is in Star Wars.

I think that in the latest Essential Guide to Aliens (or whatever it's called) it had the average life expectancy for humans being something like 130 years (so in the Legacy comics, Luke probably wasn't long dead when Krayt overthrew Fel circa 120 years ABY)

it's about 130 ABY is when the sith attack ossus I think, so the authors have about 90 years to kill off almost all of the current characters. I highly doubt Cade will stumble across a retirement home filled with ex- Jedi and rouge squadron members

About 127 I think (just checked one of the comics and the 'current' events in it are 137ABY, and Ossus happened 10 years before). Admitantly it would be quite funny to see all the old heroes coming out of retirement to kick Sith butt (althogh Luke is almost cirtainly dead as he's apeared as a Force Ghost in the comics) ;D I wouldn't be suprised if Fett was still knocking about - in the books he's well into his 70s and is physically not much older than a guy in his 30s, plus he recently underwent that gene therepy to extend his life (or so I interpreted the subplot about his overcomming his genetic degredation). Although saying that, the Mandies haven't been mentioned in the comics yet and they try to get into every major conflict going

Some alien characters might be in it. K'kruhk and T'ra Saa were both in the Clone Wars but their still here.

True, Hutts live for near 1000years at least I believe (Jabba was something like 700 when he died and his father outlived him) and Wookiees live over 300 (Chewies was well into his 200s and his father also outlived him).
Thinking about it, Ben and Jainia may die prematurely as going by the 130 year lifespan, they should have be around at Ossus (albiet with zimma frames), and no mention is made of them. As for the life expectancy of other races I'm not sure. Hopefully the Gungan lifespan is not long enough to allow Jar Jar to return (please!)

haha, if jaina does marry jag and become an empress or whatever then she might be on bastion but that's not too likely. Premature death is an occupational hazard of being a jedi. If they do kill Ben then it would have a pretty epic death

Wonder what happened to Threepio? Artoo has come back (albiet without doing much), but nothing had been heard about his partner. The thing with Ben dieing epically is that they haven't alluded to something epic happening between the Legacy books and the Legacy comics, so there might not be anything 'exciting' that happens between the (at least not on the scale of the Sith reapearing). Maybe Ben, getting old wandered of into the wilderness of space and was never heard from again..... At least not until he returns to help his (great) grandson kick Sith butt.

No. All that's be mentioned is that Cade's father, Kol Skywalker, was head of the Jedi Order at the time of Ossus. His and Cade's exact relation to Luke (other than being his descendants) hasn't been established yet, so there's no way of knowing how many generations are between Luke and Kol yet.

hmmm, if we knew when nat skywalker was born then that would give us an idea of how many generations. I wonder if ther'll be any more generations after Cade since he's with that alien chick.

Well, if the Fels are descended from Jaina it won't really matter as they can carry on the tradition. Maybe they (the authors) will have Cade and Princess Fel get together, reuniting the Skywalker bloodline and having them concieve a 'super Jedi' Just imagine a kid with the raw power and skill of Cade, but with the discipline of an Imperial Knight.

they sort of did have them together. according to wookiepedia "On page 19 of Legacy 7, it was intended that Deliah Blue and Cade spend the night together. However, a coloring mistake in the issue showed Marasiah in place of Deliah. A corrected version of the page was published in Legacy 9, and it was also corrected in the Broken trade paperback." lol
there might be other branches out there if allana survives

Don't hold your breath. Wouldn't suprise me if she dies somewhere down the line too (probably to scheming Hapes nobels in league with the next but one threat to the galaxy

The events in Invincible might suggest that Hapan's wouldn't go out of their way to kill her. Jacen's just been killed so it should be a while before any other major characters are removed. Millenium Falcon by James Luceno comes out 30 December so that should be interesting.
