Hence the 'next but one' threat and not the 'next'

Really? Haven't read that one yet. I'll have to go over my uncle's on Sunday and see if he's got that one yet and nick - I mean borrow - it off him

Just read the one where Kol shows up. Very good, it also introduces his older brother Nat (well, formally introduces. He appeared last issue too, but it wasn't revealed that he was a Skywalker until this one).
Also read the first Vector issue of Dark Times earier. Very nice and ties together the previous Dark Times arc with the Vector KotR arc, and to be honest, it really shows up the KotR Vector issues as in this one they've gone for a realistic style for the artwork as opposed to the cartoony look of the KotR issues.

That was surprising having another Skywalker show up. I wonder when he'll show up in the novels, it probably be ages away though.

I'd hazard a guess at 40-50 years 'in universe' time as Cade is in his twenties and Kol and Nat were in their twenties or thirties when Cade was born, so that'd be 50 or so years before the 'currect' Legacy comics, which are 90ish years after the 'current' Legacy books. Of course these are just guesses, and Kol could easily have been in his 50s when Cade was born (after all, Luke was in his mid 40s when Ben was born)

That seems possible when you take life expectancy into it. I think that Ben would be Kol and Nat's grandfather rather than father. Not counting Leia, i don't think that there's been a female Skywalker yet. maybe Ben will have a daughter.

If he does, then either she won't be Kol and Nat's mother, or she wont take her husband's name/give it to her kids (or maybe changes her name back to Skywalker after he dies).
And technically, is Jaina a female Skywalker, even though she bares the name Solo? (and therefore to a lesser extent Allana?) Mara Jade doesn't count as she married in, so I'll give you that.

hmmm, I found this on wookiepedia "Recently Sue Rostoni at the TOS VIP message boards has said they have discussed plans with a yet to be named publisher and has said there are plans for a series set after Legacy of the Force as well as a series set in the Old Republic." I finished reading Allegiance today
