Hmm, not to sure on this. Definately one of the originals though. All three prequals are miles behind them in my opinion.

Yeah, I know what you meen. The prequels are brilliant (I still can't get over the awesomeness of Sith's opening sequence) but the originals have a different feel to them.

Actually, I didn't think that much of the prequals, but then again as far as I'm concerned, Han shot first.

True, true. But that's only because that was what happened. Han shot first, Han always shot first, Han never shot second, and anyway, Greedo's so icompitant that it's suprising that he even knows which way round to hold a blaster, let alone know how to fire it

I prefer the Han shot first version. So many people can't understand how Greedo missed. He reckon he toying with Han before killoing him or something. Also Happy Birthday George Lucas

I think that I've heard somewhere on the interet that it was a malfunctioning blaster. :/ I know that canonically that Greedo was supposed to be bad at bounty hunting, but not even he could be that bad. It's all down to Lucas' black and white view of the SW universe - he just can't accept that prior to ANH Han was a criminal and lowlife scumbag. It wasn't untill he met Luke, Obi Wan and Leia that he moved beyond that. In some ways, if you think about it he's more of a hero than Luke. Although Luke was a 'normal' guy until R2 came along, you could also say that he was destined to be a hero due to his heritage and the plans Obi Wan and Yoda had for him, whereas Han was a practically a nobody - a discharged Imperial officer living on the wrong side of the law, minding his own business before being thrust into the limelight by being in the right/wrong place at the right time.

Gonna have to go with the Empire Strikes Back (LANDO AND YODA, best characters ever!), followed by Star Wars and Return of the Jedi (minus the Ewoks, they ruin the final battle scene)
The prequels, though the battles were entertaining had little compared to the originals. The dialogue in the movies suck overall, especially the Padme and Anakin garbage. With Han and Leia, the love was hard core and kind of bad a$$. Padme and Anakin is like watching two lovesick eight year olds. Episode II was somewhat stupid except for the fight scenes and Obi-Wan tracking Jango. I love all of the movies, but the prequels fall short (but the effects are amazing!).

By the way, Blue Harvest is amazing. I can't wait for Something Something Dark Side when its shown. Robot Chicken was also pretty funny parodies, especially like Apple Ackbars

The whole rescueing Chewbacca (RIP mate) thing shows that he wasn't entirely scum though True, but that was probably only a small shard of goodness in comparison to the rest of his character that didn't grow until the events of ANH. Correct me if I'm wrong, but apart from his time at the Academy and as an Imperial pilot, he was always a criminal up until the Alliance established itself as the New Republic. That's really the point that I was trying to make - characterwise he was far from the goody-two-shoes that Lucas tries to portay him as in the special editions.

That's what is cool about people like Han and Lando. They are criminals, thats what makes them awesome to watch. They are great characters and its good to see a couple of crooks on the good side. That's why Han and Lando are two of my favorite characters in the original films. They are criminals, but they're fighting for the good side.

technically the whole rebel alliance were criminals. From what I've seen I'd say that Han was a morally good criminal rather than just out and out scum
